Manufacturing method

The manufacturing methods of carbon steel pipe mainly include the following:

‌Hot rolling method‌: After heating the steel billet to a certain temperature, it is rolled on the rolling mill, which is suitable for the production of large-diameter and thick-walled steel pipes. The surface of the hot-rolled pipe is relatively rough, the internal grain is coarse, the strength is relatively low, but the toughness is good.

‌Cold drawing method‌: The annealed steel billet is placed in the cold drawing machine for drawing, the surface is smooth, and the strength and toughness are correspondingly improved. It is suitable for the production of precision steel pipes and high-precision mechanical parts.

‌Cold extrusion method‌: The steel billet is placed in the cold extruder for extrusion, with high processing precision and smooth surface, but the steel pipe wall suitable for production is thin and cannot withstand large external force loads.
