Product Description

H-beam can be divided into two types according to the consumption mode, Hot Rolled and High Frequency Welded H-beam. The consumption process of welded H-beam is to cut the strip steel of moderate thickness into the required width, and then weld them together at the edges and waist on the welding machine. The consumption process of hot-rolled H-beam is to heat the strip steel and stop rolling, and then stop trimming and straightening. In terms of rolling process, the biggest difference between H-beam and ordinary I-beam is that I-beam can be rolled in a two-roller pass, while H-beam needs to be rolled in an all-purpose pass. Hot-rolled H-beam uses a four-roller all-purpose rolling process, which makes it have the advantages of high efficiency, low consumption and low cost during use.

Hot Rolled and High Frequency Welded H-beams have their own advantages. However, due to production process problems, the output value of hot-rolled H-beams is much lower than that of welded H-beams, and the standard freedom is not as large as that of welded H-beams, so welded H-beams are generally more commonly used.


Hot-rolled and high-frequency welded H-shaped steel is an economical and efficient steel with a more optimized cross-sectional area distribution and a more reasonable strength-to-weight ratio. It is named because its cross-sectional shape is the same as the English letter "H". Since the various parts of the H-shaped steel are arranged at right angles, it has the advantages of strong resistance to bending in all directions, simple construction, cost saving, and light structure weight, and has been widely used.
